Posted by admin in P2P Lending Questions on January 19th, 2009
I am compiling a very balanced investment portfolio, what are the types of investment options i should include other than:
stocks, options, CD’s, mutual funds, etfs?
Are there any nontraditional ways to add to a portfolio much like peer to peer lending?
Thanks for your creative ideas!

Has anyone used BMZ.com or Prosper?

I find it really intriguing (peer-to-peer lending). I’ve been a big fan of eBay and I love the business model. I’ve been really happy with the Heroes Group at BMZ.com and was wondering what anyone else might think.

Does anyone have any experience with Prosper Lending?
Posted by admin in P2P Lending Questions on January 18th, 2009
I was looking into trying to obtain a loan for some home improvements that I want to make on my house and I came across this Prosper Peer to Peer Lending site. Does anyone have any experience with this site? Is it legit? It is asking for my bank account information during the sign up process and this makes me nervous. I don’t see why they need that information now since I haven’t even gotten a loan yet. I am just looking for some reassurance that this is a legit site and would like to know others experiences with it who have used this.

I am doing a research paper on peer to peer lending and am trying to figure out the affects of peer to peer lending on cash advance stores mainly serving people with bad credit.
520 is the minimum credit requirement for placing a loan on prosper ( a peer-to-peer lending site)

Prosper.com Credit Check Question?
Posted by admin in P2P Lending Questions on January 15th, 2009
Hi I was interested in using Prosper.com to get a loan but I was wondering, since there is no actual financial institution involved and its peer-to-peer lending, does the loan still show up on your credit report as a tradeline? Does Prosper.com pull a credit report or no? If so, which credit company do they use?
